Bile or Pitta is a yellowish green fluid that is released from the liver. Excessive secretion of bile is called Bile nature which causes acid formation in the stomach. People who have a bile nature should maintain a proper diet. So, here I am giving Ayurveda pitta diet to reduce Bile nature.

People who have bile nature should eat something every 2-3 hours so that the level of acid in their body does not increase.

If you have extra bile energy in your body then you may have problems related to skin, excessive sweating, dyspepsia, and irritation.

Normally your body has extra heat, so you will feel comfortable with foods that reduce your body heat. This will lessen your digestive system and you will also feel at peace. So, See below what to eat in the Ayurveda pitta diet.

Foods To Eat In Ayurveda Pitta Diet:

Releasing Pitta increases your body heat. In the summer season increasing body heat can be harmful. So, it is important to eat properly and maintain a proper diet. Ayurveda can help to reduce bile nature. So, see below what to eat in the Ayurveda pitta diet.

Eat Green Vegetables


Eat Green Vegetables:

Eating Green Vegetables can help you to reduce bile nature. Green vegetables will help your body to cool down as well as reduce the excessive secretion of bile or pitta.

Consume green vegetables such as carrots, cabbage, capsicum, broccoli, cauliflower, cucumber, beans, mushrooms, bees, pumpkins, and peas. It would be better if you do not cook them in more oil. If they are boiled and eaten, they get the most benefit.

Eat Dairy Products


Eat Dairy Products:

The dairy product is another food item that will help you to reduce your pitta formation and in summer it will help you to cool down your body.

Consume cow’s milk, ghee, salt without salt, cottage cheese, goat milk, ice cream, curd (homemade, without fruit mixing), etc. Their consumption also makes health good and there is no problem with bile.

Intake More Fresh Fruit

Eating apple, avocado, fresh figs, grapes (black or red), baked mango, melon or watermelon, orange, papaya, coconut, dates, pears, pineapple, potato, and pomegranate are beneficial.

Fresh fruits help to cool down your body. People with bile nature should eat in every 2-3 hours. In this 2-3 hour, people with bile nature should eat fruits. That not only help you to decrease bile nature also make you healthy.

Cereals And Legumes


Cereals And Legumes:

The grain is fiber and by eating high-fiber food, the increased acid decreases in the body and gets balanced. Eat barley, oats, wheat, brown rice, pasta, oat bran, broth, barley, etc. Apart from this, you can also consume legumes such as black beans, Kabuli chana, rajma, moong, tofu, soya beans, etc.

Nuts & Seeds


Nuts & Seeds:

Almonds, coconut, popcorn (without salt), pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds. These foods help to reduce bile nature. When you feel little hunger you can munch on some nuts and seeds.




To reduce bile nature you should take care of oil you are using to make foods. You can use Coconut oil, olive oil (olive oil), sunflower oil, ghee, soya oil, walnut oil in foods. These oils are low in fat and help to reduce pile nature.

Sweet Foods


Sweet Foods:

If you have bile nature you should avoid consuming sugar. You can use Jaggery, maple syrup or honey instead of sugar. This will help you to reduce pile nature.




If your body has bile imbalance, then consume fewer fewer of spices. But spices like Black pepper, basil, cardamom, cumin seeds, cinnamon, soya, coriander, fennel, saffron, peppermint, turmeric, peppermint can help you to reduce bile nature.

Consume these spices in a small amount to reduce bile nature. Do not overuse these spices.
