Matar Masala Curry Recipe
Matar is “green peas” which are very nutritious and beneficial for our health. Our first ever veg curries for rice are Matar Masala Curry or Green Peas Masala Curry.
Ingredients Needed for Matar Masala Curry Recipe
- 2 cups of Green peas
- 1 large Tomato (Finely grinded)
- 1 large Onion (finely chopped)
- 1 tbsp. of Garlic-Ginger Paste
- 1/2 teaspoon of Cumin seeds
- 1 tbsp. of Turmeric powder
- Red chili powder (as per taste)
- 2-3 Green Chilies or as per taste
- 1 tsp. of Coriander Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of Garam masala
- 1/2 teaspoon of Cumin powder
- Oil or butter 2 teaspoon
- Green coriander as desired (only for dressing)
Method of Making Matar Masala Curry Recipe
Soak peas for about 4 hours to make peas masala.
After that add salt and boil it and keep the water aside and keep it separately.
Now add oil to the cooker and after sometimes when it becomes hot, add cumin seeds.
Then add finely chopped onions and chopped green chilies.
Then add ginger-garlic paste once the onion and chili get roasted.
After some time, add coriander, turmeric, chili powder, and all the dry spices powder to it.
Now keep cooking on a light flame
Keep in mind that spices should be roasted, do not let them stick to the bottom
Once roasted, add chopped tomatoes
When the oil starts leaving the borders, add peas and cook them well
Now pour water as much gravy is required, and close the cooker
Wait till 2-3 whistles of the cooker
Now serve with a little butter and coriander leaves on the top of it as a dressing
NOTE:
If you want curry sour, then add one and a half spoonful amchoor powder after opening the cooker and while serving the dish add a few drops of lemon juice.

Soya Chap Curry Recipe:
The soya chap curry made from protein-rich soya chap is fun in both eating and appearing. So, let’s check out the method of making Soya Chap curry recipe below:
Ingredients Needed for Soya Chap Curry Recipe
- 250 gm. of Soya Chap
- 250 gm. of Tomato (3 pieces)
- 1 inch Ginger
- Green chili as per taste
- 100 gm. of fresh cream
- 3-4 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2-3 tablespoons of Green Coriander (finely chopped)
- 1 pinch of Asafoetida (Hing)
- ¼ teaspoon of Cumin seeds
- ¼ teaspoon of Turmeric powder
- ¼ teaspoon of Red Chili
- Less than 1¼ teaspoon of Garam Masala
- 1 teaspoon of Coriander Powder
- 1 teaspoon Kasuri Fenugreek (Methi)
- Other spices such as 1 large cardamom, 1 cinnamon, 2 cloves, 6-7 black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of Salt or as per taste
Method of Making Soya Chap Curry Recipe
Cut the soya in 1 to 1.5-inch pieces
Heat the oil in the pan
Put the Soya Chap in hot oil, fry both sides of the soya chap till it becomes brown, and keep them on a plate
Make a paste of tomato-ginger-green chili paste.
Put cumin seeds in the remaining oil, after roasting the cumin, put the asafetida (Hing), turmeric powder, coriander powder, kasoori methi and whole garam masala, black pepper, lentil sugar, long and cardamom.
Fry the spices slightly, add tomato-ginger-green chili paste and add red chili powder, roast the spices until the oil starts to float over the spices.
When the oil separates from the spices, add the garam masala and cook it, stirring constantly and cook till the spices are boiled.
Add ½ cup of water to the spices when the spices are boiled, and stir it continuously and simmer again
Then add some green coriander and mix it in the Curry
When the gravy comes to boil, put salt in it and mix it with soya chap curry.
Cover the curry on a low flame and let it cook for 4-5 minutes.
NOTE:
After adding cream in the spices, cook it continuously until the gravy starts to boil, so that the cream does not break. Also put salt in it later because if the cream is added with cream, then the fear of cremation remains intact.

Matar Palak Paneer Curry Recipe
All the ingredients present in the recipe are superb nutritious (Matar= Peas, Palak= Spinach). You can serve it on special occasions and also can eat it on a daily basis.
Ingredients Needed for Matar Palak Paneer Curry Recipe
- 350 grams of Peas
- 1 pound of Spinach
- 250 grams Of Paneer
- 250 grams of Tomatoes
- 2 Green chili or as per taste
- 1 inch long piece of Ginger
- 1½ tablespoon of Oil
- 1 tablespoon of Besan (Gram Flour)
- 1-2 pinch of Asafoetida (Hing)
- ½ a teaspoon of Cumin
- ¼ teaspoon of Turmeric powder
- Salt as per taste
- ¼ teaspoon of Garam Masala
Method of Making Matar Palak Paneer Curry Recipe
Wash the spinach sticks, wash it with clean water twice, put it in a vessel, cover it and put it on low heat, boils them for 6-7 minutes
Grate the boiled spinach with fine flour
Grind tomatoes, green chilies, and ginger finely using a mixer
Boil the peas
Put a tablespoon of oil in the pan and heat it.
Fry both sides of Paneer till it becomes light brown (Keep the fried paneer in a plate separately)
Put asafoetida (Hing), cumin seeds in hot oil.
After roasting cumin add turmeric powder and tomatoes paste.
Sprinkle the spices until the spices become roasted and the spices leave the border.
Add boiled peas to this spice and roast it for 2 minutes with a spoon and fry it.
In small embroidery, heat the oil by adding half the tablespoon oil.
Put gram flour in the hot oil, fry the gram flour on low flame, when the gram flour becomes brown, mix it with tomatoes, fried spices, and now also add spinach paste, paneer, and peas
Then mix well with a spoon, now add a bowl of water
Cook well with the spoon; cook the vegetable until it gets boiled
Turn the gas off.
Put garam masala in the vegetable and mix it.
Your Matar Palak Paneer Curry is ready.
NOTE:

Paneer Masala Curry Recipe:
Paneer or cottage cheese can be made in various ways. One of the ways is to make it with lots of spices (Masala) but won’t use cream or milk in this recipe.
Ingredients Needed for Paneer Masala Curry Recipe
- 250 grams of Paneer
- 2 tablespoons of Cashews
- 3 medium sized Tomato
- 2-3 Green chilies
- 1 inch long piece of Ginger
- ½ small bowl Fresh curd
- 3-4 tablespoons of Oil or ghee
- ½ teaspoon of Cumin
- ¼ teaspoon of Turmeric powder
- 1 little spoon of Coriander Powder
- ½ Teaspoon of Red chili powder
- ¼ teaspoon of Garam Masala
- Salt as per taste
- 1 tablespoon of Green Coriander (Finely Chopped)
Method of Making Paneer Masala Curry Recipe
Cut the Paneer into 1½ inch wide & 1½ inch long pieces
Wash cashews and soak them in water for 1 hour.
Grate the soaked cashew nuts and keep them in the cup
Make a paste by grinding tomato, green chili and ginger using a mixer put yogurt in this paste
Put ghee in a pan and heat it.
Pour a few pieces of cottage cheese in this hot ghee and fry them till both sides turn brown.
Remove fried Paneer in the plate.
Prepare the whole Paneer in the same way.
Put asafetida (Hing) and cumin seeds in remaining ghee.
After roasting cumin, add turmeric powder, coriander powder and red chili powder, mix it using a spoon
Roast the cashew paste and cook for 2-3 minutes.
In this fried spice, add yogurt tomatoes paste and fry the masala until the ghee is not floating on the spices.
Now add water and salt to dilute the process according to your taste in this spice.
While on a boil, add fried Paneer and garam masala and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Your masala Paneer is ready
NOTE:
If you want you can also add onion. For this take 1 onion finely chopped, put 4-5 finely chopped buds of garlic and fry it until it becomes transparent and then put the rest of the spices like this in it.

Bottle Gourd Curry With Curd
Many of us get irritated only by hearing the name of Bottle Gourd (Loki). However, when you will try the Bottle Gourd with Curd recipe then you won’t hate bottle gourd that much. The taste of fried bottle gourd curry with curd is very different from other bottle gourd curry.
Ingredients Needed for Bottle Gourd Curry With Curd
- 500 g of bottle Gourd
- 1 cup of Fresh curd
- 2 tablespoons of Oil
- Garam masala using ½ inch cinnamon, 1 large cardamom, 5-6 black pepper, 2 cloves.
- ½ teaspoon of Ginger powder
- 1 Tablespoon of Fennel Powder
- 1 pinch of Asafoetida (Hing)
- ½ teaspoon of Cumin
- ¼ teaspoon of Turmeric powder
- 1 Tablespoon of Coriander Powder
- 2-3 tablespoons of Green Coriander (finely chopped)
- 1 teaspoon of Salt or as per taste
- 1 piece of Green Chili (Finely Chopped)
- ¼ teaspoon of Red Chili Powder
- 2 tablespoon of Oil for frying bottle gourd
Method of Making Bottle Gourd Curry With Curd Recipe
Wash the bottle gourd and dry it, peel it and cut its stalk.
Cut the bottle gourd into pieces of 1½ inch, and if the pieces contain seeds, then remove them.
Heat a pan and add oil to it to heat it
Add bottle gourd to fry it in the oil, and take it when light brown, and prepare the remaining bottle gourd in the same way.
To make the curry, add 1-2 tablespoons of oil in the pan and heat it
When the oil is hot, add cumin and asafetida (Hing) in it
Add roasted garam masala to it after frying cumin
Add turmeric powder and coriander powder and fry it
Put red chili powder and curd
Roast the spices continuously on a low flame until it gets boiled
Now add fennel powder, ginger powder, and green chilies
Once the spices are well cooked and fry the spices until the oil separates from the spices
Then add half a cup of water to it and cook it continuously once again to boil it completely
When the gravy comes to boil, add salt and some green coriander and mix it.
Now put fried Bottle gourd in this gravy
Cover the vegetable and let it cook for 3-4 minutes
Bottle Gourd curry with curd is ready to serve, turn off the gas and take out the curry in a bowl.
Serve the Bottle Gourd Curry with rice or with roti as per your preference.
